Who should pick which
Both have changed a lot. Windsurf is now Devin Desktop, and Cody is enterprise-only after Sourcegraph discontinued Free and Pro in 2025. For an individual or small team, Devin Desktop is the only one of the two you can sign up for: Free, or Pro at $20/month. Cody makes sense only inside an existing Sourcegraph Enterprise deployment (from $16K/year), where its value is code-search context across huge monorepos.

Which handles very large codebases better?
